The building is a military museum  located in new capital that consists of  a basement , ground , first and second floor. the building consits of six halls with dimensions of 35m x 35 m free space. The basement foot print is 12000 m2.Basement floor is typically flat slabs while all other floors are metal deck slabs supported on pannelled steel trusses with depth of 2500 mm. Some columns where inclined due to archi-tectural requirements and composite sections for these columns wrere adopted.Foundations are isolat-ed footings with connecting slab. The building was designed against gravity loads and, seismic and wind loads.The scope of work was to carry out all tender documents including design drawings,calculation sheets,specifications and bill of quantities.
